ResurFx 1565nm Laser Skin Resurfacing delivers fractional non-ablative energy to treat a wide range of textural skin conditions including fine lines and wrinkles, scarring, pore size, and stretchmarks on the face and body.
Laser resurfacing is done using the ResurFx. ResurFx is a traditional laser, it uses a 1565nm fiber laser to deliver fractional non-ablative energy to treat a wide range of textural skin conditions including fine lines and wrinkles, scarring, pore size, and stretchmarks.
Our favorite laser resurfacing treatments include fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and mouth, crepiness on the neck or chest, and stretchmarks on the breasts, tummy, and hips.
Our Medical Providers combine thermal physics with your skin’s biology to ensure that each Laser Skin Resurfacing treatment is safe and effective, with natural, rejuvenated looking results.
During your Laser Skin Resurfacing consultation, our Medical Practitioner will provide a thorough history and physical examination assessing your facial skin using 3D imaging and a comprehensive skin analysis to measure skin conditions. We will tailor an individual treatment plan based on your needs and goals.
During your procedure, our Medical Practitioner will cleanse the skin and apply a topical anesthesia numbing cream for comfort. Next, our Medical Practitioner will deliver non-ablative fractionated laser energy transmitted through a continuously cooled crystal applicator, gently placed over the skin into the deeper layers of the skin based on the intensity selected. Our device allows us to choose from more than 600 combinations of shape, size, and density for optimal treatment. Unlike other fractional lasers, the ResurFx needs only one pass to be effective, and the advanced scanner places each fractional spot in a controlled manner to protect your skin from heat accumulation and overheating.
After treatment, we apply post-procedure protocols including topical growth factors and polynucleotides to expedite the healing process and optimize results. The procedure takes approximately 30-60 minutes.
Some patients experience redness, mild-to-moderate swelling, or pinpoint scabbing for a few days following treatment. It’s possible to have peeling or scabbing that may last 1-2 weeks and depends on how superficial or deep your laser resurfacing treatment is. Bruising is not common. Most patients return to normal activities within 1–3 days.
Results develop gradually over several weeks as new collagen forms, with continued improvement up to 3 months. A series of 3 treatments spaced 1-2 months apart is typically recommended for optimal results, depending on your skin goals.
