WHAT IS HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY?

Hormone Replacement Therapy works by restoring declining or imbalanced hormones—such as estrogen progesterone, or testosterone—to optimal levels, helping regulate metabolism, mood, energy, sleep, libido, and bone health while improving overall vitality and quality of life.

Hormone replacement therapy corrects hormonal imbalances using hormones that are chemically identical to those produced in your body. Bio identical hormones are identical to natural hormones in your body to create a more natural hormonal response and decrease the chances of experiencing unwanted side effects.

Our Physician may use pellets, injectables, and/or creams available by prescription to correct your hormonal imbalance and improve negative symptoms such as: weight gain, decreased libido, fatigue, thinning hair, and skin changes.

WHAT WE DO

Our philosophy at Skin Bio is tailored towards providing a safe, effective wellness
regimen for patients in our Wellness Program.

During your Hormone Replacement Therapy Consultation, our Physician will sit down and discuss your medical history, including a thorough intake of all acute or chronic illnesses, allergies, medications, diet, exercise, drug or alcohol use, psychosocial, and lifestyle habits. The Physician will perform a physical exam, including taking your vitals and a 10 point review of systems.

Based on your comprehensive history and physical, if you are experiencing any symptoms related to a hormonal imbalance, our Physician may order a hormone panel as part of your Lab Testing. This blood test will assess your entire endocrine function, as well as testosterone, estrogen, and cortisol levels. Section

WHAT TO EXPECT

After completing your blood draw at a specified lab location, you will return to see our Physician for your Lab Analysis. During your Medical Follow Up for Lab Analysis, our Physician will sit down and talk with you about your results. You’ll receive full documentation of your test results along with an explanation and treatment recommendations to correct any hormonal imbalances.

Many hormone imbalances can be restored by making modifications to your diet, fitness, supplements, lifestyle, and stress management. However, some hormonal imbalances require more in-depth medical management involving Bio Identical Hormone Optimization with our Physician. This involves pellets, bio identical injectables, or creams available by prescription for at-home use. Even a low-dose replacement therapy can have dramatic results! Our Physician will closely track your progress at medical follow up visits done once every 3 months.

I saw Cristina for fillers and let me tell you, her eye for detail and symmetry is impeccable. 10 out of 10 amazing when it comes to results. Doesn't over do it, goes over everything with you before hand, and listens to all your concerns. She is also so friendly and incredibly knowledgeable.

I also did a diamond facial by Melanie and that is simply the best facial I have had in quite some time. She spent a good amount of time perfecting my face and my pores but also, she is so very lovely.

I have had TWO great experiences at Skin Bio - my first was with Cristina for Botox and filler and she did a wonderful job. My migraines have drastically decreased and the work she did looks very natural. It was exactly what I wanted and by far the best work I've ever had done on my face. The second amazing experience I had was with Melanie - she did an acne facial which I haven't had in years but I definitely needed after experiencing some hormonal acne breakouts. She was clearly very experienced with this. She did an amazing job extracting everything from my skin and was also fun to talk to and very personable.
