Sculptra, Radiesse, ariessence pure PDGF+, PRP, and PRFM Therapy are advanced regenerative treatments designed to stimulate your body’s natural regenerative abilities for skin rejuvenation, hair restoration, and repairing injuries.
Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) is a collagen-stimulating biostimulator that gradually restores facial volume and improves skin firmness in areas such as the cheeks, temples, and jawline helping to restore a refreshed, natural appearance without adding artificial fullness.
Hyperdilute Radiesse (calcium hydroxylapatite) stimulates collagen and elastin production to tighten and improve skin quality on the face, neck, décolletage, and body.
ariessence pure PDGF+ (platelet-derived growth factor) topically supports tissue regeneration and collagen production to enhance skin rejuvenation, healing, and hair restoration on the face and scalp.
PRP (platelet rich plasma) and PRFM Therapy (platelet rich fibrin matrix) use concentrated platelets from your own blood to release growth factors that stimulate collagen, improve skin texture, and promote hair growth in areas such as the face, undereyes, scalp, and décolletage.
Each biostimulator has a unique molecular structure making certain biostimulators ideal for specific areas of the face, scalp, and body. Our providers will discuss which option is best for you.
Our philosophy at Skin Bio is tailored towards providing a subtle, natural look for our patients using Biostimulators.
During your biostimulator consultation, our Medical Practitioner will provide a thorough history and physical examination assessing your facial anatomy (skin, muscle, bone) both at rest and in animation; and if applicable, assess your scalp or body. We will tailor an individual treatment plan based on your needs and goals.
During your procedure, our Medical Practitioner will cleanse the skin and apply a topical anesthesia numbing cream for comfort. Next, our Medical Practitioner will inject and/or apply topically small amounts of biostimulator into different areas of the face, scalp, or body. The number of syringes needed will vary from person to person, and the procedure takes approximately 30-60 minutes.
Downtime is different for every patient, and depends on which biostimulator is used. While the biostimulator is being applied, you may experience mild discomfort or a stinging sensation. After the procedure, you can experience injection-site redness, swelling, tenderness. This is common, and should last a few hours to a few days. Immediately after your biostimulator treatment, we recommend icing your face and relaxing to minimize swelling or bruising. You may be instructed to massage the treatment area; wait until next day to exercise.
Results can be seen between 2-12 weeks after treatment. Please allow 2 weeks for swelling or bruising to subside. The duration of biostimulators depends on the type of biostimulator used, and where it is injected or applied topically. Depending on the biostimulator used, results can last anywhere from 6-36 months.
